Linxx Awarded U.S. Navy Irregular Warfare (IW) Training and Staffing Support Contracts

May 2010

Linxx Global Solutions, Inc. was awarded two U.S. Navy contracts in May 2010 to provide Irregular Warfare (IW) training support and staff specialist augmentation. Linxx has been on the cutting edge of IW doctrine development and implementation since early 2009. IW services fall into two categories; Education & Training and Professional Services. Linxx trains navy personnel in how to operate and survive in the often chaotic environments characterized by global irregular warfare. In addition, Linxx teaches IW planning and METLs development for Navy units focused on this new doctrine. Linxx professionals knowledgeable in the subsets of IW such as; counterinsurgency, counter proliferation, counternarcotics, antiterrorism, and counterterrorism, are provided by Linxx through several contracts to the U.S. military and federal agencies to augment their existing capabilities

 

Linxx Awarded Additional Contract Expansion in Support of Navy Seabee Readiness Groups (SRG)

Linxx Global Solutions, Inc. was awarded a contract expansion on its existing SRG training support contract increasing tactical instructional support staff by 28 and extending the contract beyond the planned base performance period. Linxx provides exceptional training management and instructional support services for many of the U.S. Navy’s expeditionary units. Linxx was founded 14 years ago by Navy special operations professional and the company continues to address the challenges of projecting security in the near shore and littoral maritime environments through its robust and unique capabilities.

 

Linxx – Wyle Joint Test & Evaluation (JT&E) Team Wins Joint Forces Command (JFCOM) Task Order

March 10, 2010

Linxx Global Solutions, Inc. is teamed with Wyle Laboratories Inc., on the JT&E contract to support joint test and evaluation programs across the military services. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity award is for a five-year base period for $465 million with five one-year options. The Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) sponsors the JT&E Program to conduct test and evaluation and provide information required by Congress, OSD, the Unified Commands and the Department of Defense components relative to joint operations conducted by the Navy, Air Force, Army and Marines. Linxx will provide professional services in support of the recent task order award related to a JFCOM maritime security initiative.

 

CONGRESSMAN NYE TOURS LINXX GLOBAL SOLUTIONS, INC. HEADQUARTERS

January 28, 2010

Congressman Glenn Nye (D-VA, 2nd) toured the Linxx Global Solutions, Inc. Headquarters, where he praised the service-disabled veteran-owned small business for succeeding in spite of a downturned economy. Congressman Nye personally introduced himself to the executive management team, program managers, and support staff and shared some of his experiences on Capitol Hill and in the Foreign Service Office in Afghanistan. After receiving a short business capabilities brief, the congressman discussed various issues, including antiterrorism, maritime security, the government contracting process, and veterans’ affairs. As chairman of a House of Representatives committee that focuses on helping small businesses, he also informed Linxx Global Solutions, Inc., whose workforce is composed of 96 percent former military personnel, of the various benefits and tax credits extended to organizations that have a vested interest in hiring and retaining veterans. Linxx Global Solutions, Inc. Wins Defensive Combat Operations Training Contract

January 8, 2010

Linxx Global Solutions, Inc. has been awarded a contract to provide Naval Beach Group personnel a ten day, defensive combat operations training course. Linxx has conducted several pilot versions of this dynamic curriculum for Naval Beach Group units since June of 2010. The course consists of tactical movement, perimeter defense, small arms proficiency, mission planning and practical field exercises.

 

LINXX GLOBAL SOLUTIONS WINS USSOCOM TRAINING CONTRACT

The Strategic Level - Small Craft Combating Terrorism course is a four week in-resident, and two week mobile training team course designed to educate senior partner nation leadership on strategic theory and operational campaign design focusing on counter-terrorism, maritime domain control, and counter-narcotics. The course of instruction will include; maritime security doctrine, operational command and control, training and readiness, organizational leadership, material craft and equipment suitability, logistics, maintenance sustainability, professional military education, and maritime facilities infrastructure.

 

Linxx Global Solutions Wins New Navy Training Contract

Linxx is awarded the Expeditionary Training Command (ETC) High-Threat Instructor Training contract . Linxx will provide the ETC Mobile Training Teams (MTT) with comprehensive tactical training courses designed to ensure Navy personnel assigned overseas in high risk areas are safely capable of conducting foreign unit training for military, civil, and security personnel within partner nation countries worldwide.

 

Linxx Security Transitions into Linxx Global Solutions

Linxx Security, based in Virginia Beach, Virginia continues to grow exponentially, expanding their core services in 2009 to include; Technical Services, Tactical Training Services, Security Services and Educational Services. To reflect this rapid growth in capabilities the company has changed the name to Linxx Global Solutions. On July 22, 2009 Linxx was designated A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.

 

FEMA Awards Contract to PaTH Joint Venture

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded a contract to Partnership for Temporary Housing, LLC (PaTH) to provide temporary housing and emergency response services for disaster victims. Linxx Global Solutions is a partner in the PaTH Joint Venture providing incident command post and disaster site survey/assessment support. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity Individual Assistance-Technical Assistance Contract III (IA-TAC III), has a potential value of $375 million over the one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The PaTH joint venture is responsible for work in the western continental U.S., as well as Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and American Samoa.

 

Linxx Security Wins New U.S. Government Contract

Linxx won a multi-million dollar security services contract in July 2009 supporting U.S. government initiatives in the Middle East. Linxx provides security and other specialized services to many U.S. government agencies and expects this portion of their business to grow considerably throughout the rest of 2009 and into 2010.

 

Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) Training Pays Off

9 January 2009

Emerging concern for high-seas pirating has called upon the skills of the Navy and Marine Corps VBSS training. Since 2005, Linxx has trained hundreds of military personnel in VBSS high-seas operations which include: maritime interception, boarding and searching procedures, tactical movement and shooting, and many other tactics, techniques, and procedures. Linxx wins the Military Tactics Instructional Support Services contract for 20th and 31st Seabees Readiness Groups. Services are to provide high-risk training to the 1NCD and its subordinate units.

 

Linxx wins Combatives contract for NECC

2 June 2008

The Naval Expeditionary Combat Command has awarded Linxx the Force Combatives Training contract. Linxx will provide the EOD and Riverine cadres with a Combatives curriculum to integrate into daily Physical Training (PT). The contract reflects the growing awareness in the Navy to enhance the warrior ethos, Linxx not only plans to provide Combatives training, but also will train Recruit Training Command (RTC) personnel to be Combatives instructors who will maintain and sustain training when needed.
