Cathy Shourds

Mrs. Cathy Shourds possesses over 14 years of experience in office management, finance, and human resources for both large and small businesses. Before joining Linxx, she served as an office manager of a contracting firm where she was responsible for bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable. In addition, Mrs. Shourds worked for an international shipping agency, maintaining shipping, office, and personnel files and documentation. In this capacity, she also leveraged her knowledge of overseas regulations to advise and assist the Norwegian and Swedish consulates with foreign travel and shipping processes and procedures.

At Linxx, Mrs. Shourds serves as the human resources administrator, providing payroll, benefit, and recruitment support. She is responsible for updating employee records, conducting new hire orientations and processing associated paperwork, and maintaining human resources files for both new and existing employees. In addition, she provides essential administrative and clerical support to the accounting and new business development departments to increase efficiency and promote future growth in accordance with corporate human resources policies.
