Ms. Spence has 18 years experience in new business acquisition for U.S. government and commercial programs in both domestic and international capacities. She has worked for and with the largest government contractors as well with 8(a) small business contractors. Her expertise and experience lays primarily in proposal and project management, planning, and coordination. She has led and supported proposal efforts valued at less than a million dollars to those worth several billion dollars. With this broad experience coupled with her education in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, and Marketing from Widener University, Ms. Spence brings a unique capability and perspective to the Business Acquisition/Proposal Director position.
During her career as an industrial engineer, Ms. Spence was a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE). As a new business acquisition professional, she is a member of and holds professional accreditation from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP). Additionally, she has established proposal centers for her employers, both large and small, developed and conducted proposal workshops, and managed hundreds of successful proposals.
