Maritime and Riverine Operations

Maritime and riverine operations are defined as military and law enforcement operations in open, littoral, and inland waters and include water born actions above the high watermark. These types of operations have unique challenges and inherent risks that require specialized tactics and equipment.

Linxx training programs are the most current and relevant in the field of maritime and riverine operations. Our training cadre developed and currently delivers the U.S. Navy Non-Compliant Boarding-Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (NCB-VBSS) course and had a significant role in developing the U.S. Navy Riverine/Maritime Interdiction Operations (MIO) course. Our close working relationships with the Naval Special Warfare and the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command allows us to continuously improve our curriculums based on lessons learned from current operations in littoral waterways around the globe. Linxx maritime and riverine instructors have recent operational experience with specialized maritime counterterrorism units within the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Coast Guard.

The Linxx maritime and riverine operations training include:

  • MIO
